Cancellation Policy

The Curious Psych's' cancellation policies reflect a genuine aim to provide reliable professional services to all of our clients. In order to ensure that we can offer timely appointments to people who require support, it's important that adequate notice is given when you need to cancel an appointment. This way, we are able to offer your appointment time to another client.

The following cancellation fees apply for cancelled sessions:

Less than 24 hours notice is given for a cancelled session: 100% of the session fee will be charged.

Less than 48 hours notice is given for a cancelled session: 50% of the session fee will be charged.

Medicare does not cover cancellation fees.

We understand that sometimes people need to cancel an appointment due to urgent or emergency situations. If this is the case, please send an email to admin@thecuriouspsych.com.au with as much notice as you can give, so we can discuss your options. 

Privacy Policy

We are committed to providing each client with a confidential and ethical psychological service, which is bound by the Commonwealth Privacy Act, 1988, the Victorian Health Records Act, 2001, and the Australian Psychological Society's Code of Ethical Standards for Psychologists, 2007.
